9 months!

Our Little Lady turned 9 months old on Friday!  We had her 9 month check up on Friday and got a great report.  She weighed in at 21 lb 5 oz (90th percentile) and was 29 1/4 inches long (95th percentile) and was 95th percentile for her head circumference as well.  I don't know why but I feel like we reached a huge milestone.  And one that is filled with lots of fun!  I really don't know what else to say about her except that she is the sweetest baby and such a joy to be with!  We are loving every minute with her.

Happy Girl!
Here is what she is up to these days:
- loves to eat cheerios and feed herself (actually prefers that over being spoon fed!)
- waves "hello" and "goodbye," not always at the right moment, but she gets the gist of it
- claps, especially when she is pleased with herself
- loves to play patty cake
- gets on all fours and rocks back and forth
- can pull up to her knees in the crib
- rolls all over the place
- when we get her out of bed, we usually find her at the foot of the bed playing with her toys
- she pitches a fit when you make her do something she doesn't want to do (ie put on clothes) or take away a toy she is playing with, etc.
- she has 3 teeth, 2 on bottom and 1 on top
- she is a "daddy's girl" to the max and lights up when he walks into the room
- loves to stand up in the crib or holding onto whatever she can

Happy to see daddy!
Mary Frances continues to be a busy little girl and loves to talk.  I am pretty sure she says dada in reference to Paul.  When he walks into a room she will say "dadadada."  So sweet!  I also think she is trying to say "dog."  She loves Maggie and will look at her and say "da."  In addition to saying her own little words, she is starting to understand us more and more.  She knows her name, our names, and even Aunt Sally and Gigi.  She is even starting to understand some commands, such as "don't drop it," one that we use frequently!

She is such a sweet girl and we are so thankful that the Lord gave her to us!  We had her baptized today (another post coming later this week) and it was so sweet to reflect on her being a covenant baby.  We are so thankful for the community we have to help teach her about the Lord and pray for her.  So, we will pray for a wonderful 10th month of life!

Enjoy a few more pictures from this past month.
