Margaret is 2 Months Old!

Margaret turned two months old on Valentines Day.  Fitting for my little love bug!  At two months she is all smiles and loves to snuggle.  She is such a happy little thing and is happiest when in your arms.  I could just eat her up!

This was not a sleepy smile.  Margaret's smile was just
so big that her eyes closed :)

Here are a few things about Margaret at two months:
- She weighs 12 lb 11 oz (90th %)
- She is 23 1/4 inches long (80-90th %)
- She is in size two diapers
- She feeds 6 times a day
- Sweet thing now sleeps from her 11pm feeding until 7am
- Margaret smiles and she smiles big!
- She is still in 0-3 or 3 month clothing
- She has started cooing - oh how I love baby noises!

I have started reading to Margaret a few times during the day.  I love to watch her face light up as I read!  She doesn't always look at the book, but mostly just watches my face.  She just loves the sound of my voice reading to her.  It is so sweet.  I laugh because I started reading to Mary Frances around the same age too.  Paul thought I was crazy to read to her so young but I wanted Mary Frances to have a love for reading.  Now Mary Frances LOVES books.  I hope Margaret will love them just as much.

Sleepy girl!

We have started playing some during Margaret's awake time.  Her favorites include her play mat, and Gigi's quilt (which Mary Frances quickly fills with toys).  She loves to watch Mary Frances and you can just see Margaret taking in everything her big sister does.  This morning Margaret was in her bouncy seat and Mary Frances brought her valentine present over to open for her.  Margaret's face was all smiles watching her big sister.  It was precious.
