And She's Off!

Mary Frances is walking!  She took her first steps about a month ago and this past weekend finally got up the nerve to take off and go.  And go she does!  Her favorite loop is to walk to her bedroom, circle, walk down the hall, to the kitchen, circle, and do it all over again.  Now that she is tooting around, her and Maggie are at eye level, which means lots of kisses in the face and getting knocked over.  I noticed this morning, though, that Mary Frances has started to sit when she sees Maggie coming to prevent a fall.

We love watching her get a kick out of herself.  Paul said the past two days while I was at work, she would walk down the hall with either a ball in hand or her lovey in her mouth, cackling.  I guess she thought it was funny she could walk and carry something at the same time?!

We're loving this new stage!
