We have been on a whirlwind of vacations this past month, including our annual beach trip to Hilton Head, SC. This meant Mary Frances was a Carolina Girl (best in the world!) for an entire weekend :) This year, it was just our family along with the Brookers and Hoffers. We so missed the Henrys, though!

Mary Frances was the only girl of the crew of 4 children (3 boys plus Mary Frances) and she totally held her own. She mostly just did her own thing, walking around the beach and hanging out with the moms. One night at dinner, Wells and William were singing the ABC's and would stop and laugh every so often. Mary Frances was sitting at the end of the table and would look back and forth at them, then join in the laughter. It was so cute! She just wanted to be a part of it all! Back to the beach note, she LOVED the beach. Who would have thought? She just walked (and sat!) on the beach the entire time. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Other than our time on the beach, we loved our time with sweet friends. Our time in Hilton Head is always so relaxed and we appreciated the time to sit, eat, drink and talk with such special people. Thank you Brookers for such a fun weekend! Enjoy the pictures!
