March

I love the month of March.  Probably because it is my birthday month (hint hint) and the beginning of spring!  I love spring and the first day of March found us with beautiful 70 degree weather and lots of sunshine.  Mary Frances and I took full advantage of being outside and enjoying the day.

We also had an alterior motive for being outside.  We needed to spend a little time cleaning up the yard.   So, we cleaned and rested and waited for the mail man.  Mary Frances LOVES the mail man.  Whenever we see him coming, she waits patiently (or impatiently) for him to get to our house.  Last Thursday was no exception.  She saw him from a few houses down and started waving and then took off towards the mail box.

My prissy little girl also surprised me by wanting to go barefoot.  She is not one for getting dirty, as am I, and always wants me to wipe her down as soon as she gets dirty.  It made me laugh that she wanted to walk around without her shoes, but would then sit down and wipe off her feet.  She had fun, though!

We are looking forward to many more days spent outside once spring officially comes!
