7 months!

Wow!  Our Little Lady turned 7 months old yesterday!  Usually I say it seems like yesterday I was doing her last post, but her 6 month post seems way too long ago.  Thankfully the fire and being in a new place have not seemed to bother Mary Frances.  Our biggest obstacle has been teething!  She cut her first tooth Monday, just in time for her 7 month birthday.  I would say she is her normal, happy self 90% of the time, with a little fussy mixed in between.  We shall see how it goes from here!

Big Girl!

Mary Frances continues to grow and change every day.  Her personality remains as sweet as ever.  She is cuddly when she wants to be and active most of the time.  Since we started her cereal about 1 1/2 months ago, we have expanded her diet some.  In addition to rice cereal, she is eating sweet potatoes and butternut squash.  We are trying bananas, but to much avail.  Maybe it is a texture thing?  It took the sweet little thing two full weeks of trying cereal before she would even open her mouth for me to put the spoon in.  Once she got the hang of cereal, we tried sweet potatoes and that took a while for her to like as well.  Seems like I have a particular eater on my hands!  At least now she likes the sweet potatoes.  I guess it just takes her a while to come around to liking new things...  I wonder where she gets that from...

Practicing rolling over

Here are some other new things she is doing:
- She is finally rolling over!  Just from front to back, but it won't be long before she is rolling back to front.
- She loves to stand up only holding onto 2 of your fingers.  Sometimes she gets brave and only holds on with one hand.
- She is trying really hard to get up on her hands and knees.  Usually she ends up just scooting herself backwards.
- She is still babbling up a storm.  Her favorite thing to say is still "dada" but she is adding some other sounds in there as well.  I think she is also trying to mimic the inflection in our voices.
- Sister is a fast little thing as she reaches for everything!  Before you know it she has your phone (or something else you don't want her to have) in her hands and in her mouth.
- She loves the nursery at church and playing with her friends.
- The best one yet is she has started taking a bottle when I am at work!!!  YEA!!!

So proud of herself!

I was so sad that our photo shoot couldn't take place in our normal spot this month due to the fire.  We tried our best to find a good replacement spot and I think it will work for now.  Thanks to Gigi for helping with the smiling faces!

We are looking forward to all the ways she is going to change in the next month!
