10 Months!

Wow!  My little girl is 10 months old today.  So hard to believe!  I know I say that every month, but it really is hard to believe that ten months have gone by since Mary Frances was born.  Anyways, she has been all kinds of fun this past month.  She continues to be such a sweet little girl and is so happy and content to play and be wherever we are.  She pretty much loves everyone and has very little stranger phobia so far.  She is still eating 3 meals a day and we have progressed to eating more finger/table food.  Mary Frances is napping twice a day and sleeps, on average, 12 hours a night.  This past week, however, she has figured out how to sit herself up and finds it fun to sit up instead of laying down to take a nap.  This morning it took her 30 minutes to fall asleep!  Everyone says that the novelty of it will wear off and hopefully she'll be back to her good napping soon, until she learns how to pull up and it starts all over again!  Oh well!

Here are some fun things she has been doing this past month:
- learned to crawl
- started sitting herself up
- can feed herself finger food and loves it!
- she loves to cross her legs at her ankles while she is in the stroller or the highchair.  It is SO cute!
- loves to wave (more appropriately so) and clap, especially when she is proud of herself
- can stand holding onto something for extended periods of time
- she has started throwing things on purpose (not so excited about this one)
- she is starting to learn boundaries and what she can and cannot do, ie. touch outlets, etc.
- will reach out for you to hold her or pick her up
- has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom
- will "walk" while holding onto your hands.  Only a few steps, but she is getting the hang of it more and more.
- loves music and when we let her in to sing at church she raises her hands.  She is a little charismatic in her worship :)
- she makes this cute squinty face when she is trying to smile at you!
- her hair has really grown and almost ready for some bows!

Now that Mary Frances is on the move, I am sure we will have our hands full.  That's okay, though, because I am sure it will be a lot of fun too.
