Happy Birthday, Maggie!

Yesterday we celebrated the 3rd birthday of our sweet family dog, Maggie!  Maggie was our first "baby" and taught Paul and I a lot about "team parenting," communication, and discipline :)  She is a part of our family in every way and one of the most loyal members.  She loves us unconditionally and truly treasures nothing more than being at our feet and basking in the warmth of our love and affection.  Maggie is a companion, friend and walking buddy.  She makes the house seem not so lonely on nights when Paul is working late or out of town.  She can always cheer us up after a bad day and there is something so soothing about laying on the couch, petting her while she lays next to you.  Maggie has never met a stranger and loves all humans and canines (cats are another story).  And most importantly, Maggie loves Mary Frances and I cannot wait for her to grow up with such a kind and loving companion.
